A single engine plane crashed and burst into flames early Thursday afternoon near Kiowa in Elbert County, killing the pilot.
At least one person is dead after a fiery plane crash near the town of Kiowa on Thursday afternoon.
A pilot was killed in the crash of an aerobatic plane near Simla. Elbert County Coroner Sandy Graeff says the victim was burned in the crash around 12:55 p.m.
